The Fall Play production at BHS is “The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940” a comedy mystery. It will perform for two weekends, November 19, 20, 21 at 7:30, November 22 at 2:00 p.m., and again after Thanksgiving on November 27, 28 at 7:30 and November 29 at 2:00 p.m.  All public performance tickets are $8.00.  “The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940”  is a hilarious send-up of the mystery genre, and of the American theatre of the 1940’s. The story involves the creative team responsible for a recent Broadway flop in which three chorus were murdered by the mysterious “stage door slasher.” All are gathered at the estate of a wealthy eccentric for a backer’s audition of their new show.  The house is replete with secret passageways, a diabolical maid, and the reappearance of the slasher.  As a blizzard cuts off any avenue of escape, bodies begin to pile up, and all manner of comic mayhem ensues. A seasoned team of advanced drama students perform and crew the show.  The play is directed  by Teri Grimes with the set design by Ben Vandermay.
