Background
It is fantastic to be a Red Raider! I am starting my 15th year as a teacher and my second year at BHS. My classes include AP US Government, Video Production, Web Design, and Tech Connections. I'm also the boy's golf coach and the 2010 class advisor. I've recently received a grant to work with technology integration and peer coaching, called the EETT program. In addition to my BHS duties, I teach adult technology integration education classes through NW ESD189, SPU, and occasionally WWU. I have been a Teacher Leadership Project participant, instructor, and regional coordinator from 1999-2004. My staff development experience has included teaching in Tennessee and Alaska in 2004 for the Institute of Computer Technology's Teacher Leadership Seminar (TLS), a Carnegie Foundation program. I have also been a Learning & Leadership grant reader for the NEA Foundation in 2006 and 2007.
