3. Review of the syllabus. Please read, review, and sign it for Friday...
4. Start working on Word and letters. Complete Letter 1: an introductory letter for Mr. Everett: modified block letter. It is due within the first 5 minutes of class on Friday.

Homework Due: Letter 1: Introductory letter to Mr. Everett in modified block style.

1. Turn in Letter 1 if it hasn't already been submitted.
2. Continue working on a number of different block and modified block letters:
   • Type Letter 9 as it is in the handout. Discuss particular components: 2" margin, all block, not centered (or modified), spacing, punctuation, and so on... Save as a separate document in your Word folder.
   • Take the content of letter 10 and type it exactly as they typed letter 9, following the same exact formatting examples of letter 9.
     We'll discuss the different proofreader's marks next week. Save as a separate document in your World folder.
   • Type Letter 18. Letter 18 is not formatted appropriately. That’s your job. Use the packet as a guide. Save this as a separate document.
3. Letter 9 & 10 should be completed for Monday! Don't print them! Just have them done and saved in your Word folder. Thanks.
