  2. Make any changes you feel are necessary after the peer review information you received last week.
  3. Save your presentation to the appropriate folder on the S Drive by the end of the period. Please put your last name in the filename of the presentation.

Wednesday, march 12, 2008 - B Day ~ WASL schedule (Happy birthday, mom!)

Homework Due: None!

  1. MicroType for 20 minutes.
  2. Exercises affiliated with the Ethics, Email, & BSD Network Module on the Tech Connections web site:
    1. View the Ethics Presentation with one other person...preferably right next to you! (#1)
    2. View the handout: Outlook Instructions and Practice (#3)
    3. Use Outlook to complete certain steps... (#4)
    4. Go to the Email Assignment, but only read 8 Email Mistakes That Make You Look Bad (#4)
    5. View the handout: Do the steps in the File Saving Assignment. Note: when creating folders, don't re-create a folder you may already have! (#6)
    6. Open the Tech Self Assessment and follow the steps. (#7)
  3. That should pretty much do it for today. We will revisit this info, but first we are going to go through the PowerPoint presentations...starting Friday. Here's the rubric. Each of the three main areas in the rubric are worth 10 points. We will run through the class alphabetically - there should be no question as to when you are going to present!

Friday, March 14, 2008 - C Day

Homework Due: None!

  1. MicroType for 20 minutes.
  2. Keep your Tech Self Assessment in your folder. If you didn't get to it or aren't finished, you should finish it on your own before the end of next week.
  3. Personal PowerPoint presentations! Here's the rubric. Each of the three main areas in the rubric are worth 10 points.
