Monday, September 10, 2007 - C Day
Homework Due: None - unless there is a syllabus out there that hasn't been turned in!
- Continue working on letters in the Word module. Many of you are well on your way with the block style business letter, fashioned after letter 9. Letter 10 and the personal letter to a company should be completed. If not, you'll need to jump back to it as we move forward with letters 17 & 18. When you complete one of those early, go back and finish the others. [If you can't find the time in class to do it, plan for time before or after school in the library!]
- We'll spend most of our time working on letters 17 & 18 today. Once you have created your header (remember way back to Friday?) for Garner Homes, you may start typing your letter. If letter 17 is completed, please begin letter 18.
- When all letters are complete, call Mr. Everett over to see them. You will show him letters 10, the personal company letter, and letter 17 on your computer. Please print letters 9 & 18 (4th period: you have already printed letter 9 - don't do it again!) If you intend to send your personal company letter to the company, please print it out and sign it. I'll review it and then give it back to you.
Wednesday, September 12, 2007 - B Day
Homework Due: None!
- We'll take a break from working on the letters today! We'll continue Friday, with the realization that all of your letters are to be completed before we go to lunch (for 4th period, and after the first 45 minutes for 6th period) and that you will need to show Mr. Everett letter 10, the personal company letter, and letter 17 on your computer. Please print letters 9 & 18 (4th period: you have already printed letter 9 - don't do it again!) If you intend to send your personal company letter to the company, please print it out and sign it. I'll review it and then give it back to you. [Again, if the 45 minutes before lunch isn't enough time to finish, plan for time before or after school in the library!]
- Mrs. Stevens from the Counseling Center will be in to share some valuable information with you!
- Mr. Anderson will be in to share important information concerning the network and your ability to use it!
