Class Projects

  1. Create a school or commercial page(s) or site using the techniques learned during the semester.
  2. Create a Tutorial through investigating a Web Design or Technique similar to what was taught in class this semester that can be used by others to learn.

Ideas:

  1. Research the Web for PhotoShop, ImageReady, Dreamweaver, Flash, etc. techniques and re-write them as a lesson.
  2. Use the Resource library in the Room to learn new HTML options.

Course Description:

This class is the second semester of Web Design emphasis is on developing additional skills in Web development with application to Web pages.

Course Objectives:

  • Students will gain the skills and project-based experience needed for entry into web design and development careers.
  • Students will be able to create web pages and web sites using a variety of strategies and tools (industry standard software and hardware).
  1. Cascade Style Sheets
  2. Flash
  3. Javascripting
